11kV Rural Power Line, Mount View
DESIGN SCOPE:
- New 540m 11kV covered conductor line to connect a remote radio tower to the power grid.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Minimised vegetation clearing through use of 'covered' conductor,
- Arranged approval of extensive vegetation clearing through the engagement of a local ecologist,
- Arranged survey of existing land parcels to enable installation of network assets in the public road reserve,
- Maximised span lengths whilst complying with blowout and road clearance requirements,
- Landowner and council consultation to reduce overall community and environmental impacts
