11kV Power Line Extension & Pole Substation, Jerrys Plains

DESIGN SCOPE:

• 435m Extension of 11kV overhead power line for a radio tower site,
• Installation of 63kVA 3-phase substation,
• Design of private power line cable types and single line diagram(s) to supply the radio tower.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• New overhead power line extension using covered conductor to reduce vegetation clearing,
• Arranging registration of overhead power line easement on private property,
• Engaging ecologist to assess vegetation and optimising power line route to avoid clearing of protected vegetation,
• Design of private power line cable types including voltage drop and single line diagram(s).
